Welcome to the first stage of our consultation for Land west of Lent Rise Road, Burnham, Buckinghamshire.
This website introduces Croudace Homes’ early vision on the proposals for a new neighbourhood along with countryside open space, and provides an opportunity for you to share your views.
Croudace Homes is a family-owned firm with a proven track record across the South East.
Regarding our latest project, sustainability and high-quality development will be at the forefront of our vision. Our homes are designed by experienced professionals using energy efficient materials and fittings.
There will also be a net gain in biodiversity and promotion of green travel, including a mobility hub.
Our vision comprises up to 800 homes including a significant amount of much-needed affordable housing.
Before taking the proposals further, we wanted to engage with residents and other interested parties. As a result, we are holding a community consultation, and we are keen to receive your feedback.
About the Site
The site lies immediately west of Lent Rise Road, on the southern edge of Burnham. It enjoys excellent access to local facilities and public transport, with Taplow railway station just a short walk away. There are also convenient connections to Slough, Maidenhead, Reading, and London.
The land comprises agricultural fields bounded by hedgerows and trees, and a cluster of farm buildings alongside a farmhouse in its central part.
We will seek to retain, reinstate and enhance these wherever feasible, with a proposed layout that works with the existing landscape.
Our vision for North East Fair Oak is guided by three core principles:

Prioritising health and wellbeing by creating walkable, active environments; providing accessible green spaces, play areas, and safe cycling and walking routes; and encouraging active travel for daily journeys.

Building a place that complements Fair Oak’s existing character; offering a mix of homes, community spaces, and local facilities that bring people together and foster a strong sense of belonging; ensuring accessibility for all ages and abilities.

Nature and Sustainability at the Heart
Protecting and enhancing biodiversity through new woodland, wildlife corridors, and natural landscapes; delivering at least 10% Biodiversity Net Gain; incorporating sustainable drainage, renewable energy measures, and low-carbon design to support climate resilience.
